Well to begin with there was the move....the holidays....a vacation and now Im back! WHEW! Besides ....I had to fit in some time for these gourmet caramel apples. YUMMO! They were delish . A lot of work but they are so gourmet you have to slice them and eat them in wedges . They have a coat of white chocolate under neat the milk chocolate and yummy chewy caramel. Are you droooooling yet?

This was a very small stamp that I just loved. Something about witches and witches feet ....I dont know what it is but they are so fun. Used some fabric to make the dress/skirt and a web stamp for the corner. It isnt my style of card really but I needed to throw it on paper fast.

This was the new Cuttlebug Owl embossing folder that a good friend of mine gifted me for my birthday along with some other great items. I hadnt quite decided what I would do at first but after finding some great origami foil papers I decided to foil the owl. It looks like copper however, its actually a nice orange color. Oh yes, another Doors/Windows stamp card. This one is the called the Toy Shop. They are so much fun to make and although I have added a lot of detail .......that is what its all about right? I used some glittered cardstock for the awning and you cant see it but the door was done in foil so it looks like metal. The snow is actually the new Polar flowersoft that was recently released. The picture below shows the inside of the card. TFL.

Ahhh Halloween is not far off now guys. I love making Halloween cards and spooky things for decoration. It is my all time favorite. So, I used an old technique here with some wax and a napkin and of course ART GLITTER. I love the many uses for glitter and would glitter my children if I could I think. Well, they are boys so maybe not but still, that is how much I love sparkle.

I used the Cuddlebug Haunted Halloween folder. Halloween Stamp by Inkadikado. White Signo pen on the letters. Edged the papers with White Color Box Chalk. Yellow Stickles for windows and used Spider Web over card. I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the bats. Halloween Confetti for the ghost and EK Success one inch circle punch for the moon. For the background on the card I did the Smoosh Technique. I saw this technique done on the Cricut site by Hotpinkstar and decided to try it. It was a lot of fun.

Elaine, notice yours was the only horizontal one this month. I thought that was kind of interesting along with all of our color choices. Almost everyone did a different color. What were the odds of that? Stef's ATC didnt photo well here either. It is darn cute too. Diane is that one of your photo's? They were all great and next month is going to be even more fun. We have our 'special' ATC due for Halloween and the monthly one as well.

Metal Embossing

This probably isnt the greatest picture of the box I altered but here is the finished project. I am in a group where we swap names and send altered projects and another one where we swap ATC's. This is one of the altered gifts for my person last month. It was embossed on metal using Ten Seconds Studio techniques and supplies. I just love metal embossing because you can do so much.

The inside was lined with a paisley paper as you can see here and then I used some crackle paint on the outside and distressed over it. TFL
